Avrioc Technologies - MyWhoosh 

 

  • Successfully designed, prototyped and released features into MyWhoosh live ops collaborating with multidiscipline teams.

  • Pitched and collaborated preproduction of upcoming new world as level designer.

  • Created blueprints to speed up level design processes. 

 

Level Designer                                                                                            September 2017 - July 2022

Sumo Digital - Unreleased FPS RPG.

  • Scripted overworld side quests and blocked out arenas.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

  • Mentored fellow designers in Unreal engine.

  • Worked with technical designers from Sumo Nottingham. 

  • Implemented replay feature for prototyping and testing.

  • Prototyped character costume customisation for technical artists.

  • Polished and balanced minigames.

 

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

  • Created gameplay moments and level flows with designers from Sumo Sheffield. 

  • Prototyped several gameplay objects.

  • Collaborated with level artists on art pass early iterations of underwater levels.

  • Created a number of racing tracks of varying complexity. 

  • Scripted intro and outro cameras.

  • Successfully led and implemented tutorial level with programmers.

  • Created levels and scripted cameras and arenas.

  • Balanced combat arena scenarios and boss fights.

  • Helped other designers with setting up level blueprints and objectives.

  • Create and scripted platformer levels requiring unique 3D navigation.

I have 10 years of cumulative experience in PC/Console game and level designing; working with multiple global studios to deliver games to the finish line and beyond.

​

Introduced to video games early in childhood, my first games are the ilk of Jill of the Jungle, Lemmings, Contra, Quake and Half-life. I dropped out my EE Btech studies to learn how to make games professionally.

I love coming up with solutions for problems and thrive in tight deadlines.

Cycling, history, cooking and military aviation are some of my hobbies.
